Car Registration in Munich Without a German Address
Munich is where most of our BMW Welt European Delivery clients start. The handover centre releases a vehicle only against a valid Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil II and a keeper with a German address — which is exactly the step that blocks buyers living outside Germany.
We step in as the registered keeper. You stay the beneficial owner and driver, the dealer gets the paperwork it needs, and the car leaves Munich on permanent German plates rather than a 5-day Kurzzeitkennzeichen.

What is specific to Munich
BMW Welt handover
BMW Welt schedules handovers to the hour. We send the keeper documents ahead of your slot so the delivery specialist can complete the release without rescheduling.
Alpine test drives
Munich clients usually drive straight to Tyrol or the Brenner. Permanent plates plus a green insurance card keep Austrian and Italian border checks uneventful.
Winter storage
Many Munich-bought sports cars are stored over winter. We can collect after your summer trip and keep the car under cover near Berlin.
Local registration office
Kreisverwaltungsreferat München, Eichstätter Straße
Munich's own registration office is one of the slowest in Bavaria for walk-in appointments. We do not queue there: your car is registered in Brandenburg and the plates travel to Munich.
