Does the price depend on how expensive my car is?

No. The registration fee is €500 and the correspondence address is €99 per month for a €20,000 hatchback and for a €200,000 supercar. The administrative work is the same, so the price is the same.

Will the annual fee go up after the first year?

No. €1,188 in year one, €1,188 in year ten. There is no escalation clause, no annual review and no indexation in the agreement.

When does the €400 surcharge apply?

Only when the vehicle has no German documents and the paperwork has to be created — an import that needs the COC retrieved, or a vehicle that needs a §21 individual approval. Cars that already carry German papers never pay it.

Do you mark up insurance or vehicle tax?

No. Insurance through our partners AXA and Zurich and the German vehicle tax (Kfz-Steuer) are passed through at cost, with 0% margin. We will show you the original insurer invoice on request.

How is the service fee billed?

€99/month, billed as one annual payment (12 months upfront). That means one payment of €1,188 at the start of each service year, not twelve separate debits.
