Vollmacht
A written power of attorney letting someone else act on your behalf.
A Vollmacht is Germany's power of attorney (§§ 164 ff. BGB). For car registration, it lets another person — a dealer, family member or a service like GermanCarRegistration — act at the Zulassungsstelle in your name. The document names both parties, the vehicle (VIN), the scope of authority (Anmeldung, Ummeldung, Abmeldung), a date and a wet signature. It does not need to be notarised for standard registration.
